Global Supply Manager

Department: Operations - Global Supply Chain Management
Location: Kitchener

Summary

The Global Supply Manager is responsible for the end-to-end flow of raw materials throughout the entire supply chain network. This role manages the amount of raw material inventory required to support the manufacturing so as to not be impacted by material shortages.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the execution of Christie’s dynamic global supply chain including procurement, delivery management, component scheduling and on hand inventories
  • Accountable to manage a professional team of six direct reports in Canada and seven functional indirect reports globally
  • Responsible for supply continuity in all Christie manufacturing sites
  • Responsible for integration of new Christie sites including onsite training and systems set-up
  • Ensure effective and efficient use of global ERP functions
  • Maintain awareness of Customs and other regulations that impact movement of goods
  • Ensure the right balance (minimum but adequate) of monthly raw material inventory to be set as 45 days of supply based on forecasted demand
  • Ensure effective and efficient use of global ERP functions
  • Ensure all RMA product is returned within 30 days
  • Responsible for the successful execution of all MRP data (defer, expedite, cancel, buy)
  • Opportunity for global travel

Requirements

  • Degree/diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience
  • PMAC would be beneficial but not required
  • Basic knowledge of customs and international freight forwarding
  • Ability to navigate the Supply Chain section of JDEdwards
  • Familiarity and usage of Agile System
  • Knowledge and interpretation of Inventory Reports
  • Knowledge & use of ECO & PRT system
