Systems Support Technician

Christie has an opportunity for a Systems Support Technician, working out of our Kitchener office.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Install, configure, maintain and support all AV equipment in Christie conference and meeting rooms.
  • Relocate, assemble, disassemble, or mount equipment as required.
  • Track and document the movement of hardware and software as required.
  • Add, change or delete Active Directory and/or additional accounts.
  • Build and deploy client systems.
  • Other Service and Support related tasks as required.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience installing and configuring Audio/Video equipment.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience supporting and maintaining Audio/Video equipment.
  • Ability to deal effectively with clients and provide exemplary support.
  • Knowledge and experience on Microsoft O365 platform.
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills.
  • Ability to perform research as required.
  • Diploma in Information Technology or related field

Nice to have:

  • Experience with ticketing system.
  • A good understanding of Microsoft Teams.
  • Knowledge in AD, basic understanding of network support.
  • Microsoft/A+/Network+ certification
